1. Choose a Career
Using the job/career you are interested in, find the median salary and write it on your handout.
2. Calculate Your Taxes
Use a tax calculator to estimate of the amount of federal income taxes you will potentially owe each year. Add your tax bill to your handout.
3. Follow the Money
Use this tax chart, to see what your tax dollars would fund. When you have your results, answer the following discussion questions:
