Here are some examples of elements of photographic composition in photos by some great photographers.

Practice
Open your digital portfolio at Adobe Creative Express. Add a Photo grid. Using copyright-free photos, insert one example of each of these compositional techniques: rule of thirds, leading lines, perspective, framing, background, cropping, symmetry & patterns. Label each technique and give photographic credit.

Create
With a camera (or your phone), take a series of photos using the above elements of photography. Revisit your portfolio at Adobe Creative Express and replace each glideshow image with your images. To get the images to Spark, use the Lightroom app or send the images to yourself by email, download to your laptop and upload to Creative Express.
