intro to media arts
What is Media Arts?
Media arts is the study of human communication through film, photography, video, audio, digital arts and interactive media.
What will we do in this class?
In this class we will use software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere to design web pages, advertisements, movie posters, logos, album covers, edit photographs, make videos and more.
We will learn and apply basic elements of design, such as line, space, shape, texture, and color, and the basic principles of design, such as contrast, emphasis, balance, rhythm, grouping, and scale.
By the end of the semester, you will have your own digital portfolio and a set of skills to creatively express your ideas through digital media.

Each project will be explained on Schoology and at room123.org.
